Located adjacent to our home on Tide Mill Road,
Generation Gap is housed in the historic barn which was
once a blacksmith shop. The rustic white barn provides a
quaint backdrop for browsing and shopping, offering
visitors a brief window into New Hampshire's past.
Generation Gap features furniture, lamps, antiques,
collectibles and heirlooms. In addition to these items,
Generation Gap is adorned by bureaus, mirrors, chairs,
desks, pottery and china, artwork, gardening tools, and
a variety of antiquities. The assortment of offerings is
as varied as it is eclectic - shoppers may find an
antique lantern next to an upright piano sitting beside
a shiny silver coffee pot. Thanks to the strong interest
among donors and buyers, the inventory changes
constantly. This makes Generation Gap a fun place to
browse, and a place whose charming atmosphere you'll
want to revisit often.
Like our Thrift Shoppe, all items offered at Generation
Gap are donated by caring individuals from within our
community, and proceeds support the operation and
programs offered by New Generation. Generation Gap is
run by volunteers and manager. Volunteers are still
needed: any patrons interested in helping a good cause
for four hours a week should call the shoppe at
430-9482.
Donations are accepted by appointment. We hope to see
you at Generation Gap!
