Next Generation Has Immediate Openings for Infants and Toddlers
GREENLAND, NH – May 23, 2007 – Next Generation Infant and Toddler Center is now enrolling infants and toddlers for full-time care at its location just off Route 33 in Greenland. The center opened to the public in 1998, and in 2006 was awarded a Licensed Plus rating from The NH Department of Health and Human Services. The center recently ended its preschool program to specialize in care for infants and toddlers only. “We are small enough to individualize care but large enough to provide a structured learning environment for children,” said Jen Leary, Next Generation Director. “Enrolling infants at six weeks gives parents the option to return to work at the end of their maternity leave.” All Lead and Associate teachers are schooled in Early Childhood Development implementing infant and toddler curriculum through indoor and outdoor play and positive interaction with other children. Licensed Plus is a quality rating system that recognizes New Hampshire child care programs for efforts to improve the quality of care for young children and rewards programs that strive to improve their practices and staff qualifications. Next Generation Infant and Toddler Center is a not-for-profit service of New Generation, Inc. Other services include: Second Generation Thrift Shoppes, now in Greenland and Rochester, and Generation Gap Furniture Barn.
