Dave Duggan, New Gen's Volunteer Maintenance Man (Guardian Angel)

Day of Caring Coordinator

Tuesday, October 3, 2006

 Dear Editor:

New Generation Staff and volunteers would like to express their thanks to the people from Nike Bauer Hockey U.S.A. Inc., D.G. O'Brien, and Liberty Mutual who volunteered at our site for the United Way Day of Caring September 13, working on painting projects, indoor maintenance, and landscaping. Under the direction of longtime New Generation volunteer Dave Duggan, the three groups trimmed property hedges and bushes, weeded, scraped and painted surfaces, and built a new barn entry ramp. The Generation Gap Furniture Barn and the storage shed were emptied, cleaned and reorganized to make room for new donations.

O'Brien employees were: Susan Hemlepp, Brian Peavey, Mark Franceshini, Phil St. Clair, Greg Emerson, Lenny Marsh, Linda Lawler, and Sherri Veinot. Liberty Mutual employees were: Audrey Lanzillo, Patti Fischer, Max Jerauld, Lisa Harvey, Barry Weinstein,     Stuart McGuigan, Jim Travis, Robert Girard, Michael Kellis, Michael Turgeon, Marc Woodford, Neil Taitel, and Dan Eckerson.
