A 50’s Rockin’ Eve Dinner and Dance to Benefit New
Generation Shelter of Greenland
Friday, October 20, 2006
(Greenland, NH)—Save the Date! On Thursday, November 16, A
50’s Rockin’ Eve Benefit Dinner and Dance at La Famiglia
Restaurant will raise money for New Generation Shelter, a
not-for-profit home for pregnant and parenting women.
Volunteer Dot Smith of Exeter and shelter residents came up
with the idea. La Famiglia Restaurant is generously donating
their location and preparing an authentic spaghetti dinner
for guests.
“My goal is to
restock the shelter’s food pantry and have fun with
residents and supporters at the same time. We can enjoy a
delicious spaghetti feast, and work it off shaking our
tailfeathers while dancing to great music,” said Smith.
Guests are asked to bring a grocery item or New Gen wishlist
item to be entered into a drawing for a beautiful
centerpiece from Dot’s Flower Shop in Exeter. For more
information or to see the current wishlist, visit the
shelter website,
www.newgennh.com,
or call 603-436-4989.
