Volunteers 1st Annual "Dave Duggan Volunteer of the Year Award" April 12, 2008
"Thank you Toni, Paul, Ruthie. God has blessed me all of my life – New Generation continues those blessings. I am humbled by your appreciation and affection. Unlike my industrial customers, my volunteer work is directed by 9 women who never fail to say please and thank you. Your programs provide the action and hard work to the respect life goal of valuing all of God’s creation. You offer a home and a place of peace to women who are frightened, alone, and very poor. Beginning with their arrival, hot showers, homemade food, security and companionship help ease their stress and allow them to think about the future. Your saintly work transforms most of the residents to more confident, self-directed mothers. Based upon our history, you will be able to find a little something for me to do each week and I thank you again for that blessing."
Volunteers are special people and we could not survive without them in any department of New Generation, Inc.
