As co-organizer of
the 3rd Annual Women Supporting Women Charity Golf
Tournament, I am proud to say the event was a smashing success. Beverly
Barney and her LPGA friends worked and played golf with 99 other women
of the seacoast, and raised a whopping $19,940 for New Generation
Shelter and Next Generation Daycare. Without Beverly’s 30 years of
golfing and friendships that traverse New Hampshire and Florida
communities, we may not have reached this milestone.
LPGA Golf Pros Nancy
Henderson, Teresa Zamboni, and Alexis Sieg, and Sandy Scovell of Florida
played an integral part in the tournament preparations, and worked
tirelessly to make sure the event was successful. Sandy made the silent
auction and raffle display beautiful, which in turn raised $4000 on its
own. Beverly did a great job at keeping the day moving smoothly, and was
rewarded by all the feedback from players who were there enjoying all
the action.
Thank you once again
for investing your time and energy, Beverly! We couldn’t have done it
without you! And a huge thank you to all our sponsors and teams of women
golfers who participated!
